Res.awesome Limited is committed to maintaining a safe & healthy workplace. It is the company’s expectation that work will be done safely for the protection of our people & our customers. We will strive for continuous improvement of our health & safety system.

To achieve these aims we will:

● Ensure we comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act (2015) & all relevant legislation & approved codes of practice relating to our work activities

● Ensure we comply with industry good practice guidelines for the safety of our staff & volunteers

● Ensure so far as is reasonably practicable that the employee, volunteers, visitors & contractors are not exposed to unnecessary risk; & where such risks cannot be eliminated, the effect of them will be minimised

● Ensure vehicles, equipment, properties & work sites are designed, operated & maintained in a safe manner

● Have an effective system to identify, assess, control & monitor risks

● Ensure that all employees are provided with appropriate training to undertake their work in a safe manner

● Develop, implement & practice emergency & evacuation procedures

● Ensure the accurate & timely reporting & recording of all incidents, injuries & investigate these events in a timely manner

● Prepare an annual Health & Safety plan & carry out reviews of our performance

● Ensure facilities of clients with additional Health & Safety protocols are made aware to all staff & followed

● Review the work being undertaken to identify means of improving Health & Safety

● Review Health & Safety policies & procedures as required

● Ensure that we work safely, without injury to ourselves, contractors or others

● Ensure that we adhere to the MoH requirements for managing COVID-19 (Refer to our Covid-19 Policy_April 2021)

● Provide a safe work environment for all staff and clients we interact with (Refer to our Res.Awesome Ltd Safer Space Policy_Mar2021)
