Remove all plastic ‘single use’ cups, cutlery and plates from your workplace kitchens. It’s time to break up with plastic and get reusable!
Start a mug library: hit your local second-hand stores and stock up on cups/mugs/plates/cutlery and whatever else your office seems to be in high demand of. Mug + plate libraries are perfect for when you forget your trusty reusable cup, or want to get some takeaway without the waste, just grab one off the rack and dash out the door!
3. Do the same with reusable shopping bags! No one is perfect when it comes to remembering all of their zero-waste accessories, help your coworkers out by leaving a stash next to the office door. Plus you could host a reusable bag amnesty day to fill it up regularly.
4. Use plants or potpourri for natural air purifiers. Synthetic air fresheners are a thing of the past. Why would you buy a synthetic, plastic air freshener when nature produces them for free?
5. Start a small office garden! Even small balcony spaces can be enough room for a herb garden, compost bin or even a worm farm!
